Nestlings

After hatching, they don't look much better than an ultrasound...pile o bird. It's hard to make heads or tails of it.

But today, they are all beak and eyeball.  Doesn't look like they can see does it? I wonder why the fuzzy topknot.

Pale pink Oriental lily keeps adding to the garden fragrance.

Mom N - thanks for stopping by my Garden Wise Guy blog and leaving a note. This is my first time at your blog (so many to choose from and still have time to eat!)and you've got a marvelous site. I'll be putting a link on my blog roll asap. You take stunning photos and I enjoy your writing style.

Then, of course, is that whole regional plant envy thing - you've got Hostas, I've got Agaves and Licorice plant. Take care and enjoy your summer. I'll pop back in as time allows...bg

What's really amazing is how fast they grow and start to fly.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I thought the rain lilies were never going to bloom this year. We did not get a lot of rain in June.
