Summer's End

The earth is rich for summer is full and ripe awaiting harvest.

New life is encapsulated in seeds of perpituity as signs of autumn begin.

A minute entity of itself is encoded, compacted, and archived

for a journey through time.

Caterpillar J's  attached and spun into chrysalis and cocoon

dangle in the wind.

Hurricanes come and hurricanes blow

as sunlight creeps on the floor farther inside the window.

Shall we bemoan its passing or glory in its wonder.

Yes Donna, the words of a very down to earth person with thoughts so deep in nature--to fully understand the meaning of what the person was saying would bring tears to one's eyes.
Great post & pics. Thanks.

It does make you stop and reflect on what is happening all around us. Your pictures are lovely.

You leave the most kind words as you come and go around the blog world. I just wanted you to know that I notice;)

Donna, it looks like autumn is creeping into your garden. End of summer is great with all the interesting seeds waiting to be dispersed for next spring season. This is a lovely post in words and pictures.

Hi Donna, I love this post. It lets you envision the flowers identified by the seedheads in your beautiful photos and think of the provocative words that suggest the end and yet the beginning. Beautiful.
