Autumn Dish

Autumn is in the air. It is a little cooler at night...down into the 50s. I can bring out the fall theme dishes I bought earlier this year and bring autumn to the table as well. It is time for those comfort foods like chili and chicken and dumplins and beef stew. Now I'm hungry. Cornbread...and...

I like those dishes and your use of black and white with it. I'm an Autumn gal and love the things growing during this time. I like pumpkins and harvest. It's very peaceful.

That video and the music is very classy.

Great idea for fall dishes. Yes, a nip in the air for sure.

Anna,
I like the pumpkins also. The unusual ones attract me like the blues and whites. Cinderella is a fave. Plus, I add a variety of the gourds and squash for deocoration.
Tina,
I'm about as fond of collecting dishes as playing in the garden. It is a close second.

What a neat inventive posting! I love the dishes and also changing decor with the season. I dont do nearly as much as I should but we just dont seem to have visitors at the house much. We live too far from family and friends. Sigh…

Beautiful autumn dinnerware Donna. I love those great meals too that stick to your bones. I look forward to the soups, stews, & chilis that I will be making soon.

Donna, the food looks very appetizing and I am getting hungry too! I love to cook and to eat hearty meals. It is nice to celebrate the different seasons in the home with different food on different dishes. It makes the daily tasks so much more interesting and exciting. Our seasons change too but are never as pronounced as in the cold climate. Happy weekend. T.

I tried to grow gourds this year but the squash bugs ate the blooms--errr. I was going to make them in to bird houses. I'm sure I haven't seen a blue pumpkin. I will have to google that.

Anna,
Take a look at these from last year. I had forgotten about the peanut pumpkin. Think of blue as in succulent blue.
